Full Day (With Speed Boat)
At 7:00 a.m., we pick up you from your hotel in Puno and transfer you to shore of the Titicaca Lake and from here using a speed motor boat we travel to Uros, the floating reed islands on Titicaca Lake. The Uros natives, as their ancestors, are still living on the islands built from reed and a cork like structure under the waterline. This is a great opportunity to interact with the natives and experience the life of the descendants from the Aymara culture. Later on, our tour continues with a navigation towards the Taquile Island, where we find living descendants from the Incas who spin the finest woven goods in Peru. After lunch we will have some free time to enjoy the surroundings and then we walk down to the pier from where our boat will take us back to Puno where we will arrive at about 17:30 p.m.
All transfers, shared speed boat transport, shared Spanish / English speaking guide, entrance fee, lunch.
Beverages, extras, tips, personal travel insurance.
